Get ready for the 2024 Kalihi Business Association Holiday Parade. This year marks the 75th Year of this great event. The parade kicks off the holiday season in Kalihi and is a highlight for many keiki, residents, businesses and organizations in the community. For this year, we will follow the same parade route as 2023 to avoid the construction on Dillingham. We will also be having the Kalihi-Kapālama Pā’ina at Kapālama Elementary school with entertainment, food, community booths, and games for the Keiki. Help Restock the SWCC Emergency Food Pantry The Susannah Wesley Community Center has been operating an Emergency Food Assistance Program in Kalihi for more than 30 years and the demand has increased by over 300%. Many recipients have historically been kupuna, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic younger families are also in need of help. For anyone in need of food assistance at any time, the SWCC Food Pantry is open on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 12PM—2PM.
